A total of twelve teams have qualified again with six countries winning the Qualification Rounds and the other six getting spots from the Nations Ranking which are getting drawn into two groups. The whole drawing can be seen live on ESL-TV on Tuesday, 26th May 2009 starting at 21.00 CET.

This time, James "TooGood" Harding, Joe "Joe" Miller and Matt "zalmah" Rider will be leading the draw while Tobias "sputnik" Philippi, Specialist of League Operations is assisting them and answering questions regarding this years European Nations Championship.

Also a few teams have already announced their lineups such as title defender Sweden playing with the All-Star lineup of Patrik 'cArn' Sättermon, Patrik 'f0rest' Lindberg, Christopher 'GeT_RiGhT' Alesund, Kristoffer 'Tentpole' Nordlund and Jimmy 'allen' Allen being the favorite once again.
