Complexity manager Jason Lake just removed his Counter-Strike 1.6 squad due to the poor results in ESEA Invite.Complexity rebuilt their Counter-Strike 1.6 team this January after Danny 'fRoD' Montaner and his teammates had jumped ship to Evil Geniuses . But the team just placed 9th in ESEA Invite which apparently failed to live up to Jason Lake's expectation.
So the team manager has made his decision that he will find another team to represent the coL brand better, the team which has the potential to win the championships. And the new coL 1.6 team is planned to be announced soon.
In the meantime, former TEAM 3D and coL hardcore player Salvatore 'Volcano' Garozzo has decided to retire from gaming for a while after finding a full time job.

Statement from Jason Lake:
"Since 2003 The Syndicate has been the premier gaming organization in North America. Our resume of championship titles is unparalleled and we have been blessed with more media coverage than all of our active competitors combined. In 2007 we were honored to be one of only two organizations deemed worthy of purchase by the CGS. The fall of the league late last year has obviously left us in a rebuilding mode, both with rosters and financially.
We feel an integral part of this rebuilding process is the construction of a championship caliber Counter-Strike squad worthy of representing the world’s best gaming community: the coL Community. We will not rest, nor be satisfied, until we once again find the championship combination of players that possess the traits necessary to earn a long standing tenure with our organization and make our fans proud. With that being said, most of our research has already been conducted and we expect to announce the new roster very soon."

"I would like to continue to playing but I'll have to see my options. To be serious or not? that is the question. I think we’re all done until something comes up but as of now were taking separate paths. I wish them all luck."
