ImageThe Finnish Counter-Strike squad rootz just announced their new home in Crack Clan after the team was formed one month ago.

The Finnish superstars nasu and natu formed rootz back in April in order to become a seriously competitive team, and the first place at Dreamhack Helsinki has started to promise something.

The British organization Crack Clan was planned to recruit former Meet Your Makers, current WICKED eSports prior to ESWC Asia Masters but finally came with nothing. So after that, the organization decided to make another Finnish roster which had played under the tag of rootz last month.

Statement from Director of Gaming Luke Cotton:

"I’m excited to be working with such a talented and professional group of individuals again. After dipping our toes into the CounterStrike waters recently we discovered that it’s definitely something that we want to get involved with deeper and we’re confident that this line-up will do the cc// tag justice."

Statement from Team Captain Joona 'natu' Leppänen:

"Today is a big day for rootz. Only 30 days ago we started as a team with the strive, dedication and the skill. Now we’re happy to announce that we are joining the cc// family which makes us one step better in every aspect. I’m personally very happy to be working together with my long time friend Ben Woodward and I hope we can bring him, cc// and all the fans out there great moments, glory and joy."

The next event for Crack Clan is Dreamhack Summer 2009 which will be held from 13th to 16th of June in Jönköping, Sweden.

Crack Clan 's roster:

Joona 'natu' Leppänen
Niko 'naSu' Kovanen
Matti 'SPIKEONE' Järvinen
Miikka 'dRiim' Toroi
Tino 'tihOp' Puumala
