Hope of attending ESL Pro Series Finals this season is all but ended, but Daniel 'miou' Holthuis dismissed the prospect of loose display when he takes on Human’s nemesis Dennis 'HasuObs' Schneider at iFNG Oberhausen tonight.Losing five out of five previous meetings to Dennis 'HasuObs' Schneider, one of the best experts in this match-up across Europe continent, Daniel 'miou' Holthuis knows exactly what is waiting ahead of him.
He said, “This will be a rather tricky iFNG for me. HasuObs is probably the favourite here and his undead human match-up is one of the best throughout Europe.”
HasuObs is hanging at the four place alongside his n!faculty counterpart Heinrich 'S.o.K.o.L' Rennert with same points and same set difference. A blip tonight in his current four-game winning streak could prove disastrous for him.
The six-time EPS winner, in the meantime, is likely to sit out the Finals for the second consecutive season, but it will not stop him from giving the Mousesports’ captain a run for a place in the playoffs.
“On the other hand he also has pressure on his side. While this match is a rather not so important match for me, it is however for him since he will reach the finals with a win.
“Even it it is possible for me to take away his chance to reach the finals, I wouldn't want to see it happen. Howsoever I will take the match seriously due to me being a fair player.”
ESL TV will be showing live coverage of miou vs HasuObs at 21:30 CET on 22 May.
