The Russian player Aleksey "HEL1" Novikov has left forZe for tp.uSports after the disappointing performance at KODE5 Russia and DTS-CUP 2009.
Aleksey "HEL1" Novikov joined forZe in April after a long break from CS, but losing to tp.uSports in Lower Bracket Final at KODE5 Russia just meant they had no chance to prove themselves at Global Finals.
Then the team just placed 5-8 at DTS-CUP 2009 after being ruled out by Lemondogs in Lower Bracket Round Three, so the hardcore player HEL1 decided to join tp.uSports to fill in the spot left by Ruslan 'Dober' Shariffylin for the upcoming ASUS Spring Cup 2009.
So forZe 's current four-man roster looks as follows:
Boris 'Snoop' Podvalshchikov
Ivan 'F_1N' Kochugov
Kirill 'pohmel' Bobrik
Viktor 'Sally' Filimonchenko
tp.uSports ' roster:
Edward 'edik' Ivanov
Aleksey 'HEL1' Novikov
Alexey 'OverDrive' Birukov
Mihail 'Dosia' Stolyarov
Sergey 'Fox' Stolyarov

gogogo Russia !!!
I can definately understand their dissapointment in losing to Lemondogs. tp.uSports seems promising, but they have been like that for a long time, so the question is whether the team will ever really break through. I can see that they played with foont for DTS Cup, but I support he must have just been a temporary stand-in. Anyway, there seem to have been some internal differences between the Virtus.Pro guys earlier, so I wonder if this is part of the decision.
I don't like the fact that Virtus.Pro have replace HEL1 with Zeus as I would like a pure Russian team so that I can root for it again the other Russian teams. However, I guess recruiting a foreign player of that calibre shows some ambition, and I hope that they can approach some kind of top play again. I'll be interesting to see how sharp he will be for them - he did fairly well for Virtus.Pro. Does anyone know whether Pohmel is doing well for the team?
Don't bee too hard on Wangman for his English. It seems like he's really trying. I reckon he uses translators to get things done. It was good fun to see him talk about Commonwealth of Independent States in his previous news item.
Just wanted to add that I can see that both xek and foont were in the tp.uSports line-up for DTS, but they are not part of the permanent line-up. It seems quite strange with two temporary players, but according to a newsitem on the Danish site XplayN.com, HEL1 was added to replace Dober for ASUS Cup, but since it appears Dober will be able to play, someone else will now have to go. I guess that's what Wangman is trying to say with his strange formulation :P
But it does seem strange with all the changed. In a news item back in 17 April they had the players Spec and Jealous, who I don't see now. And ed1k just left Spb. Islanders. Stability often does wonders to Counter-Strike teams.
