Valve removed Russian jumping sound
Valve released another update for Counter-Strike 1.6 yesterday to remove the annoying sound when jumping.

Valve released another update for Counter-Strike 1.6 yesterday to remove the annoying sound when jumping.With this update, the teams will do the Russian jumping and boosting just as before without worrying about being heard by their opponents.
The updates will be applied automatically when you steam client is restarted.

But now that everyone is used to it they want it because if they lose it, they lose the advantage they have over casual cs gamers who got natural skill but dont have time to learn russian jumps for 1 pcw a month.
