GomTV's last attempt at a Warcraft3 tournament was IeSF Korean Invitational which saw Jae Ho 'Moon' Jang and June 'Lyn' Park up against up against "newbies" in comparison to their respective skill levels, despite some players putting up a fight like Lennart 'SushiLicious' Roest who participates in the Dutch EPS.

However, the tournament was at least memorable for it was Yoan 'ToD' Merlo's first attempt at commentating which he did solo and which proved extremely popular with the fans.

Yoan 'ToD' Merlo added to the rumours by posting on American-based website WCReplays that there was an "epic duo incoming". Kevin 'RotterdaM' van der Kooi who casted the NGL Finals in December, looks certain to be a caster so it would seem that the pair could be the line-up for the tournament shoutcasters. Although Nick "Tasteless" Plot who already broadcasts Starcraft for GomTV has dipped his toe into Warcraft3 before so he should not be ruled out as a possible commentator for the tournament.

As the tournament is to be held online the organisers are looking for dedicated hosts to help the tournament run smoothly according to GosuGamers.net with aa list of criteria.
