wNv GM has recently been knocked out early at the groupstage on ESWC Cheonan, despite their victory against mousesports, and only landing 8-16th place at KODE5. The organisation has therefore decided to release one of their players, namely k1r.As reported recently, the new player to replace ChuanYu 'k1r' Zhou in wNv Teamwork GM will be Lin 'kratos' Guo . He is pretty unknown internationally, and hasn't attended in any events outside Asia but is said to be putting the strength needed in the squad.
Whether this line-up change will be what wNv needs in order to get better results is yet to be seen, especially if they'll succeed in qualifying for WCG 2009 or not. WCG 2009 will now be sending two teams to represent their country, making it easier for wNv to qualify. The line-up of the wNv GM team is now as follows:
BiaoHong 'Rita' Huang
LiXian 'JK' Hou
ZhengChao 'Qwe' Xie
Jing 'JP' Fen
Lin 'kratos' Guo
