The first semi-final of European Quake League 9 is coming up tonight at 21 CET. Slackers will be taking on Druidz, for what might be the most exciting match of EQL so far.Druidz and Slackers have played each other two times before in official games. Both times Slackers have won 2-1 with the decider being extremely close. This time the game will be best of five maps and all of them are expected to be played.
Druidz are considered to have the upper hand on DM2 while DM3 should favor Slackers. E1M2 is where the fight will be, both times Slackers have won this map with only a few frags.
However lately Druidz have been the more active team and should be in better shape then Slackers. But as with any old school team, you never know how good they will play, specially not Slackers who are infamous for their luck.
