A look at the GM DotA Community

ImageToday we look at a DotA squad that has not yet been under the spotlight. However, with their recent rankings and impressive partnerships, they boldly join the professional gaming scene.

GuerillaMethod is a long-standing and fairly successful gaming organization established in the general time period of Mousesports and MeetYourMakers, in 2001. Their teams span from a myriad of games, including Counter-Strike, Quake, Call of Duty, FIFA and other several others. However, this year's highlight includes the recruitment of GM.Net+, a professional DotA team.

GM.Net+ is largely overlooked, however, it is a DotA team with enormous potential. Ranked in the 21st spot on Gosu Gamers DotA, the team has proven itself to be very profficient at the game and a worthy addition to GuerillaMethod. Now, several months after the recruitment of GM.Net+, GuerillaMethod, (sponsored by Serbian net caffe,) has created a new DotA community to interact with its professional players.

GM.Net+ spokesman, Djole, made a special request to feature his team on SK Gaming and even cast some insight regarding DotA economics. From the standpoint of a DotA pioneer in the early half of 2009, Djole has seen the past few months rather rough for the community. According to him, many players left GM.Net+, causing many issues. This, of course, came only after other professional organizations such as SK, mouz and MYM parted ways with their DotA players.

However, GuerillaMethod as a whole views the coming months with a high-level of confidence, with seeing them full of opportunity and the early portion of an incline. In celebration of the recent success, GuerillaMethod invites all DotA fans to visit their newly-developed community.
