A freshly released set of statistics about the CPL and their events show that SK Gaming were by far the most successful team and their players received the most medals.

The CPL statistics which are published as part of a last installment of a series entitled "The last of the Cyber-Athletes" by Fragbite.se count medal tally both including and not including European events as well as collect the number of medals for each individual player.

As an organisation SK Gaming leads the pack with 10 medals in total, including 7 gold medal, and SK Gaming is one of only two teams - the other being NiP - that won more than one gold at a CPL event. Furthermore SK Gaming is the only team to win more than one gold at an international CPL event.

Individually SK Gaming also dominated with the statistics for the top three players with the most medals all having played for SK. Tommy "POTTI" Ingemarsson has an incredible twelve medals, he's followed by Emil 'HeatoN' Christenssen and Michael 'ahl' Korduner who have eleven, closely followed by Christer 'fisker' Eriksson who has eight.
