This year's BlizzCon will be starting early this year. This time around, it will be bigger, better and more expensive. After the recent and rather controversial announcement of this year's World Wide Invitational being cancelled, Blizzard has set the ticket purchase date to May 16th. After that, there will be a second buy-in period of May 30th. There will be an increased capacity from the previous BlizzCon events, due to Blizzard renting one additional hall that was unused from last year. However, tickets will be at a high price of $125.00.
From the previous events, there were important announcements made. From 2005, World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade was unveiled. From 2007, World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King was announced. And finally, last year's included the announcement of the Diablo III wizard class. One can only guess as to what is in hold for attendees of this year's grand event.
