After one of their members got banned for hacking in ESEA league and the teams removal from CEVO, the future looks bleak for Pandemic."I just cheated in the esea pug servers for a lil bit to see if the client worked..."
Hoang 's0nNy' Tran has been banned from the ESEA league until October 31st 2009 due to being caught hacking while playing on an ESEA server. s0nNy told complexity that he had full intentions of being caught after his decision to quit the team:"I told my team i was quitting cs after cevo and esea playoffs...so i just cheated in the esea pug servers for a lil bit to see if the client worked...and it does, good job torbull!!"
Chris Lemley, the manager of Pandemic adds that the player has been removed due to his actions but doesn't seem too moved or outraged about the incident as CS 1.6 "hasn't been their focus for a long time", this is what he tells complexity:
"The CS 1.6 team has removed themselves from CEVO and ESEA and has been dead for sometime now. I'm not sure what S0nNy was doing, whether he was attempting to get out of his contract so he could move on, or if he was just being stupid. In any case, we have released S0nNy from the team and will continue on without CS as we have done in the past. Currently, we are focusing on WoW/CoD/TF2 and are planning on exploring the console games as well. Thankfully, CS hasn't been our focus for a long time."
The end for the American CS team Pandemic draws closer daily as they have a bleak outlook on the future.

i remember back in the time, I used to like the old Panedmic team
He just wants the attention tbh.
nah I guess not :)
:D xD
Do you do any of your own reporting, or do you insist on over-dramatizing a copy/paste job? This incident is clearly isolated within our Counter-Strike division and yes, will be the end of our support for 1.6. Even remotely suggesting that our organization (as a whole) is collapsing is wildly inappropriate and could not be further from the truth, and lines like this make it easy for poor speculation without reading further into the matter.
I'd appreciate it if you'd at least be more specific in this regard, if not now, in the future.
I'll add a little "CS" just for people that don't get it ;)
