The Canadian Counter-Strike squad that has been a part of the Evil Geniuses organisation since day one, has now shown its last results. The reason for this, is because of the teams bad results recently and the organisation would like to concentrate more on their American team.Evil Geniuses has been dominating the Counter-Strike scene in Canada, with former players like blackpanther, shaGuar and Stevenson. But this domination and success was a couple of years ago, and their latest results are showned mostly in red.
As mentioned, Evil Geniuses are now fully focusing on their American team, and all eyes are on their newly recruited player Tomi 'lurppis' Kovanen who is, for now, alongside his team, attending at ESWC Korea.

Statement from Alex "chibsquad" Garfield:
"We of course still value, appreciate, and respect the Canadian Counter-Strike community. It's in our blood; Canadian CS is the foundation of the history of Team Evil Geniuses, and that will never be forgotten" said EG Executive Director Alexander Garfield. "However, we just feel that at this point, keeping the new team we've had over the past several months was not the best way to reach out and represent the Canadian community. So, we've decided to - for the first time in over five years - not have an active Canadian Counter-Strike division. This is not a permanent move, and I want to assure everyone in the North American community that there will be an EG.ca Counter-Strike lineup again in the future, but for now it was the right move for our organization."

It's now a Canadian org with only US teams. Seems odd but hey... globalization and free market make the world go round.
