A few known faces played today in the Quake III ESL Major Series IV, such as Sebastian 'Spart1e1' Siira, who met the French player Benjamin 'Unity' Rovira who got 9th place in ESWC Paris last year. The Swedish top player,Sebastian 'Spart1e1' Siira, had beaten the Frenchman on numerous occasions before and thus continued his winning streak as expected with an overall win of 2-0. We could also see Richard 'noctis' Gansterer, who participated in the famous DreamHack Winter event last year, beating his opponent 'pizo' , with an overall win of 2-0 (13-6 followed by 25-2). click here for Match Information.

The most exciting game was ment to be between Anton 'Cooller' Singov and Aaron 'HELL' Anton John Jones. HELL took the first map with difficulty, giving Cooller the will to thrive for the win making him unstopable on the 2nd and 3rd map which he easily took with a 32-2 and 20-11 win making it an overall 2-1 score in favor of Coollar. Lastly, two more games with Marcel 'k1llsen' Paul against 'stalker' were played. K1llsen without a doubt dominated these maps with the final scores of 35-1 on ztn3Tourney1 and 31-6 on pro-Q3DM6.

And for the final match today in EMS IV, we saw Vitaliy 'aSH' Fedorov defeating Michael 'mAdix' Hindersson, as predicted, with the scores 20-9 and 20-6.
