Blizzard Beta Sign-ups

ImageOn the Official World of Warcraft Community site, an unannounced beta sign-up is ready for anyone who has received a beta key for what most-likely will be StarCraft II.

No, the undeniably highly-anticipated sequel to the RTS game with a god-like fanbase has not had a concrete release date or beta release. However, a handful of individuals who have won Battle.net tournaments, art contests or attended BlizzCon 2008 are sure to pleased with the sign-up page on the World of Warcraft website. In the very truest nature of itself, Blizzard Entertainment has yet to unveil the beta but considering the lineup for upcoming games, in all probability it will be the first installment in the StarCraft II trilogy.

As posted on the Official World of Warcraft website:

"Along with the Beta Sign-up code, please enter a valid email address that will be active for some time. As it may be a while before the invitations are sent for this beta test, we want to make sure you'll receive your invite! Once you enter your information, you should receive a confirmation email. We will email you again once invitations are being sent; the email you receive at that point will contain further instructions. Be advised that it may be quite some time before this beta test begins, and this sign-up may not be for the next beta test to become available. Thank you, and we'll see you in the test!"

If Blizzard holds true to its vague itinerary, (that the game will be released in 2009,) then we should not expect further beta keys to be given past this year's BlizzCon in August. However, this is all simply speculation and like all things, will require further development.
