"You have been playing Quake for a decade now, what is it about the game that keeps you coming back for more?
Well when I first got into Quake it was the fun factor, wasn’t competitive in the slightest, then when I began to get good that’s when the professional and competitive streak crept in and I can’t seem to stop that, I always want to play whether I’m playing really good or not, I still like to be apart of the scene and to play, mainly because I’m a huge fan of the Quake Franchise and a huge fan of Duel, and for Duel games nothing comes close to Quake for that, no other game has given me the buzz to continue to play it, If Quake5 is ever to be created I’m sure I’ll pick that up and play that for several years also."

"Hell" also gave some word of advice to every new player in the Quake scene:
"Not give up is the first ones I’d give, as most people coming into the gaming competing against people with many years experience are just going to give up and not enjoy being beaten so convincingly, especially coming from easier games that they excel at, as Quake is a harder game overall at the higher levels. Can’t expect to come into Quake with not much experience and expect to be good within a couple of days, it takes time and effort, motivation and determination to want to become better and to take heavy losses in the process, it’s the way to learn."
And finally, he explained what hopes he had for Quakelive, for game and his personal career:
"In QuakeLive I hope to find my comfort zone like I did in Quake4 and feel comfortable on all maps and playing under any circumstance, but unfortunately they don’t have any decent duel maps, and in all fairness I’m sick of playing the same old Dm6 that’s been in circuit since 2000, it’s boring and if we wanted to continue playing that then we might as well should’ve stayed with Quake3, we need something new. But I’m hoping that’ll come sooner rather than later, along with some big and decent prize tournaments like we use to have in Quake3’s early days, add some excitement back to the scene, with better coverage. So I’d just like to see myself in the near future performing at the best of my ability at these big major tournaments representing myself, the UK and Team Dignitas at these events, then I’ll be happy."
