and dont get me wrong - im not saying its going to be a bad game or something like that - it just wont be starcraft that we know, that we`re used to and that i personally love ;P
Making it easier.
It used to take months, in one case a year, to go from killing the 2nd to last boss to the last boss in WoW. Now it takes one day to clear an entire instance that's brand new.
I've got to try StarCraft 2 three different times. It feels a little like StarCraft, but when you take Multi Building Select and Auto-Mine into consideration, it's butchered. I think I only needed 90 APM to be efficient apposed to nearly 300+ APM in StarCraft: Brood War.
Blizzard should have just revved up the graphics for StarCraft 2, added 1 new unit to each race, then released it.
StarCraft is a PERFECTLY BALANCED game. It may be the ONLY balanced RTS left, but you can't stop a multi-million dollar a month corporation from ignoring KeSPA, fans, and pro-gamers input.
TL;DR - I don't give a flying F how shiny the game is. StarCraft: Brood War is 100% balanced. Just keep SC2 the same as Brood War except maybe add a unit to each race. The fans and Pro Gaming Organizations will take care of balanced maps, new strategies, etc.
AUTO-MINING! TERRIBLE ! TOO EASY !
You know what would make SC1 even more pro ? only FOUR units per control group...just image how many clicks would be needed to control all those units...awesome !
this looks so UBERSLOW
rofl i hope they speed it up a bit
