Following a hard-earned victory over rival World Elite last week, SK Gaming are looking to extend their winning streak as they engage the red-hot nGize this afternoon.SK Gaming were on the brink of suffering their fifth defeat this season at the hands of Chinese elite after Undead sensation Zhuo 'TeD' Zeng set up a 2-1 lead for his team with a win over Jin Wook 'Rohjinwook' Roh.
But with the game tied at 2-2 and MichaeL and Xiaofeng 'Sky' Li headed into the tie-breaker, the young Korean Human player produced a clever play to beat the two-time World Cyber Games winner at his own game that left the title holder starring at their third defeat in a row.
Returned to the fifth place with a point ahead of mTw, however, SK Gaming will face an uphill task to maintain their place as they lock horns with nGize, a team that has not yet been defeated in the past eight rounds.
The figures speaks for Hyeong Ju 'Check' Lee and Pedro 'LucifroN' Moreno Durán themselves as well. The nGize duo are currently at the top of player ranking with only Hyo Sub 'FoCuS' Eom and Chul Woo 'Shy' Park coming close. SK Gaming manager Min-Sik 'reis' Ko has nothing but praise for his counterpart, but has his eye on ending their incredible run.
“Playday vs nGize, they have not lost yet and are playing an incredible season. 8-0 that result is remarkable. LucifroN and Check are both in great shape, Check winning lately almost every game and LucifroN showed how good he is by beating Sky last playday in NGL ONE.”
“On the other hand we have RohJinWook starting to improve and now it is Lyn’s time to take revenge on Check, so I hope that this clanwar ends in our favour.”
