Apart from seven offline final participants last term that automatically qualify for the regular season of G-League Season 7, four players qualify from a Korea preliminary competition and seven players from an Asia preliminary competition outside Korea.

The three-day Korea preliminary competition came to an end today as Orc players and Night elf players shared the spoils. SK Gaming player June 'Lyn' Park edged mTw’s Du Seop 'WhO' Chang 2-1 in the first round in Group C, and further secured a place in the regular season after beating former team-mate Seo Woo 'ReiGn' Kang 2-0 in the second round.

Former SK Gaming player Sung Sik 'ReminD' Kim, in the meantime, also qualified from Group D. Similar to Lyn, ReMinD came out on top of a mirror game against Seong Deok 'SoJu' Lee with a 2-1 win, and went on to defeat Jin Woo 'Resolver' Lee 2-0 to grab another place.

Elsewhere, Jae Ho 'Moon' Jang fell through in Group A after losing 1-2 to Deok Man 'SocceR' Youn in the second round, while Hyo Sub 'FoCuS' Eom defeated Human duo Sung Yeon 'Myth' Kim and Jong Seok 'ReprisaL' Lee in Group B to take another place.
