Max Payne 3 finally in development
After many years of waiting the Max Payne story may finally come to a close, with Rockstar Games developing the third installment of the award-winning action shooter.
Max Payne 3 is currently in development for Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC and is set to be released this winter. It is in development by Rockstar Vancouver, the studio that brought us Bully, without the backing of Remedy Entertainment it is a mystery to what changes Rockstar will be adding to Max Payne 3.
With a scheduled release date of winter 2009 there is little time left for the development, so expect videos and screenshots soon.

I'm just wanting for it! :D
the studio that develops it has never made any good game yet and all of a sudden they want to make a worthy sequel to one of the greatest series pc-gaming hast to offer? Of course its possible, but as i said, the chance is pretty small.
i dont speak for consoles here, just for the pc-version, and everything rockstar released for pc in the last years was pretty bad because the port to pc sucked. and who wants a consoleshooter-port anyways? :(
the new max payne looks like a mixture of zangiev and the gta4-dude btw :D
I'm mainly afraid they're gonna make Max Payne GTA style.
Anyway at least there's a chance for it to be good, Sam Lake said he was never going to work on another Max Payne anyway.
If it sucks we can just play the first two and enjoy them :)

i played maxpayne with kungfu mod ... anyone who loved this game try it.. more exciting and fun to play
and anyway.. the mp film .. was sh*t :'( that was very sad
