ImageKTF MagicNs have secured the service of KeSPA March Ranking number 13 Ji Soo 'ForGG' Park, who is reported to have a rift with his manager at Hwaseung Oz.

Ji Soo 'fOrGG' Park, defeated his former team-mate Jae Dong 'Jaedong' Lee in Final to win MSL last year, enjoyed a three-year stay in the current Shinhan Bank Pro League leader before making the switch to KTF MagicNs. The Terran player relish the prospect at the “illustrious” club despite the departure.

“I was surprised when KTF placed an offer for me, but I considered it after knowing that they had been following me for months. I think it’s a pretty nice deal for me.” he told Fomos.kr(via PlaySC.com). “KTF is an illustrious club and I am trilled to become a part of them, but I also felt sorry after thinking of my day at Hwaseung Oz.”

The news came as quite a surprise as even his former team-mates wasn’t aware of this before it hit the headline at Fomos. “I received phones from my former team-mates right after Fomos published the news. They were all shocked. I guess they probably didn’t know it beforehand.”

However, it did not happen without a sign. Fomos cited Hwaseung Oz manager Jeong Woong Cho once said in an interview that ForGG needed to pick up his form and criticised his lack of training, and the player has not featured since his loss to Jung Suk 'Reach' Park when his team locked horns with Air Force ACE in early February.

The recruitment has increased the number of Terran player in KTF MagicNs to 12, virtually half of the team are Terran players. ForGG could make his debut as soon as tomorrow when his new team takes on SKT Telecom T1 in the Shinhan Bank Winner’s League playoffs in a bid to challenge Hwaseung Oz.
