SK Gaming out to resolve a WICKED test

ImageFollowing a 4-1 defeat of Russian side BraBlay last week, SK Gaming will be playing against reborn WICKED eSports on Wednesday in the third match day.

SK Gaming went off to a rocky start in WC3L Season XV when they slipped to a 2-3 defeat to Team ALTERNATE in their opening match, but June 'Lyn' Park and their latest addition Jin Wook 'Rohjinwook' Roh were quick to gather themselves before it’s too late and breezed to a 4-1 win over BraBlay.

Tomorrow’s match, though, could be more tricky as they lock horns with WICKED eSports, a team that surprisingly hit the ground running in their debut season in WC3L. The former EYE Sports brushed BraBlay and Team ALTERNATE aside with two 4-1 victories in succession, and with one match in hand, they are only one point adrift of the currently leader Clan Go.

WICKED eSports’ latest additions Mykhaylo 'HoT' Novopashyn and Yoan 'ToD' Merlo may be barred to feature, but their Russian duo Nikita 'Nicker' Pomadov and Yuri 'Sting' Sheremetov are already worth to be taken note of. “Wicked look pretty strong with their new additions of ToD and HoT, and Sting is doing a really good job lately.” said manager Min-Sik 'reis' Ko. "Recently the European players are doing pretty good and its gonna be a pretty tough clan war for us."

The match will kick off at 17:00 CET, while lineups will be unveiled 30 minutes prior to the start time. You can share your thoughts in our match item.
