mTw have won their first big event in 2009 by defeating Alternate in the Grand Final of the ESL Extreme Masters III Continental Final Europe. It seemed like they were unstoppable almost all of the time but Alternate fought back big time but did not manage to take them down in the end.

Alternate had a great tournament and started out good in this match again by winning the pistol round on the Terrorist side going up with a 3-0 score. Then mTw started their rampage with Alexander 'ave' Holdt again getting many important frags for his team on the Counter Terrorist side. Alternate were able to get only one more round going into the second half with 4-11.

The pistol round of the second half almost went in favor of Alternate having a 5on2 against Sunde and ave but the Danes managed to plant the bomb and take all Alternate players down. Shortly after mTw were up with a score of 15-4 and everyone thought it was over but not Alternates players.

Alternate made a great comeback once again winning round by round even with triple AWPs of approx, mooN and roman. They did it what no one would expect and won all the remaining rounds leading to an overtime. Still after a short break mTw seemed to be back on track winning the first half with a clear 5-0 and finished Alternate off with a 1-1 and 21-16 in total.
