Alternate have been the surprise of the tournament defeating SK Gaming, Crack clan and Mousesports but after an emphatic group stage their run was finally ended in the upper bracket by mTw. On stage Alternate were the loudest of the two but the calm collected approach of mTw proved to be the winning formula. In between rounds mTw's team manager Guddo gave his players a shoulder massage to ease the tension and the team looked solid throughout.

Meet Your Makers were served a coup de grace by mTw who gave them a thrashing with a 16-3 final scoreline. Going into their game versus fnatic one would have thought their confidence would have faded but despite fnatic taking a 9-6 lead the Poles came back to take the game 16-12. The final round was down to Get_Right and the fnatic players stood up to gather round their last hope but it was in vain, and the players looked incredulous.
