Halo 3 has hit one billion's boundary mark, Bungie reports.Bungie reports that the Halo 3 game they have developed for Xbox 360 platform, has served (via Kotaku) over 1,000,000,000 (one billion) matches. Halo 3 was released in September 2007.
Total matchmaking playtime is 2,023,153,340,764 seconds.
The historic match was played at 18:36 PT on the 28th of February, which was a 4-player Infection match. This was the billionth match played on Halo 3.
"One Billion," started Bungie's development team on their blog, "it's a giant number, one that's difficult to understand without the proper context."
