The patch, automatically updates user’s Warcraft III version once one connects to the Westfall server from the Battle.net list, will feature a “new ad system”.

In addition to that, it will fix “an exploit where an altered custom map would be seen identical to the original custom map” and “an issue where some patches could not apply on Intel Macs”, the release note reads.

The current Patch 1.22 was released last April to replace the one-year-old Patch 1.21, notably increased the repair rate of Human’s Scout Tower, experience gain from Dryads and several bug fixes, swapping unlimited usable items like staff of preservation to get rid of the cooldown for instance.
