After defeat to Team Alternate, SK Gaming have come back in force to serve emuLate a heavy 23-7 beating on inferno. Also Mousesports hit back on T-side to beat Meet Your Makers and AndThenSome poach the fragmented Lag Blank.Given that emuLate had provided the other major upset so far by defeating Mousesports 19-11 on inferno, they looked in good shape going into the game versus SK Gaming. However, SK shook off the rust and took a 12-3 lead on T-side followed by a 11-4 on CT to finish the job off.
Elsewhere in Group B, Mousesports came back from 10-5 down as CT against Meet Your Makers to turn the tables on T-side on inferno with 13-2 to make the finals score 18-12.
In Group A mTw cruised to a comfortable 20-10 victory against fnatic after the Swedes were unable to get started in the early rounds. Meanwhile another upset saw Danish AndThenSome beat Swedish Lag Blank 17-13 who had to make two alterations to their line-up prior to the event with Spawn replacing Gux who joined fnatic and strker replacing strat caller snajdan.
Group B has been the talking point ever since the groups were drawn and with both Team Alternate and emuLate already scoring big, the group is still wide open.
