June ‘Lyn’ Park retained the weekly cup title for another week after cruising to a 3-1 win over Jong Seok 'ReprisaL' Lee in the final. In his ZOTAC WarCraft III Cup debut last week, June 'Lyn' Park defeated numbers of first class players such as Sung Hyun 'Space' Park, Deok Man 'SocceR' Youn and Dmitriy 'Happy' Kostin to win the €100 first place prize money.
However it was said to be the first and the last ZOTAC Cup outing for the SK Gaming player due to the time difference, he still signed up for the tournament and edged to a final meeting with Jong Seok 'ReprisaL' Lee following two close defeats of Space and mTw’s Leon 'TastyLeon' Hoge.
The budding Korean Human player showed he has what it takes to become a force to be reckoned with as he beautifully defeated the Meet Your Makers captain Manuel 'GrubbY' Schenkhuizen 2-0 in the Quarter-finals, and a sublime comeback against Chul Woo 'Shy' Park steered him into the final.
Going into the final, he seemed be fazed by Lyn's continuous Blade Master harassment and lost two straight games at Twisted Meadows and Echo Isles in less than half an hour. Despite narrowing the scoreline with a win at Turtle Rock in the third game and staged fabulous fights at Secret Valley in the fourth game, he could do nothing but hand another victory to Lyn after losing both Arch Mage and Mountain King in the end.
