Mel "Cupcakes" Gribben was part of the SK.Ladies ESWC 2007 winning team and she will return to the team for 2009.

"After being inactive from competitive CS for a year, I am very excited to come back and play with these girls," said Cupcakes, "Winning ESWC in 2007 with SK Ladies was amazing and I am ready to do it again in 2009!"

The process has been a long and gruelling one according to team captain Alice "ali" Lew, but finally the perfect fit was found. "The tryout process has been long and tedious," said ali, "for the last 2 months, playing with different ringers every other week has really burnt out the SK.Ladies team."

"However, after much deliberation we finally decided on the perfect girl for our team, and one that is already known to the SK community," said ali, "I would like to extend a warm welcome back to Mel Gribben, former teammate and ESWC champion of 2007.

"There had been many girls that showed interest in joining and I wish all those girls the best of luck in finding a home," said ali, "Now it's time for us to train hard! We have a lot of work to do so practice and bootcamps are going to be essential for our success."

Mel "Cupcakes" Gribben first appearance for SK.Ladies will be in the ESEA league match on Thursday 8pm PST.
