The recently-revamped WC3 squad of Meet Your Makers bow out of the looming season of NGL 3on3 competition as their new team manager Cassandra “Cassandra” Ng considered the league “meant for smaller teams”.NGL shifted its focus from 4on4 league to solo league while retaining the team-based competition in spite of reducing its scale down to 3on3.
They in the meantime canceled offline finals and cut the total prize pool to $3,000 for the competition, wherein the three-time champions decided to make room for "smaller teams".
“The only team league we take part in is WC3L.” said Cassandra in an interview with WC3L.com. “We decided not to take part in NGL team league as it's meant for the smaller teams to participate.”
Their withdrawal could well indicate a return of World Elite, who expressed their desire of participating earlier, but were rejected afterwards as MYM reiterated their participation by then.
NGL has not yet responded to MYM’s decision and the participants of the 3on3 competition thus far are:
Team ALTERNATE
BraBlay (former iGamecentral)
Carrot Gaming(former aX eSports)
EYESports
Keepers of Destruction (former GosuArena)
Mousesports
mTw
nGize
Raptor Gaming
Serious Gaming
SK Gaming

where did u get that info ?
I said "NGL team league is meant for smaller teams", which NGL also clarified when they changed the system. It's not good in my opinion, for a big team (be it MYM or other big teams) go to there and ruin the fun for others. I think it's good for the e-Sports scene when new teams or smaller teams get to compete in leagues. I do support any kind of team leagues, and I believe smaller teams should get a chance too.
What the author is doing though, is not good or healthy for the scene in general. Nor is it good for SK's reputation with these kind of articles. I suggest editing it. Thanks.
*end of sarcasm here*
When I read the interview I thought smaller meant a smaller roster size but that didn't make sense. The interviewed apparently meant "smaller" in terms of "not many big names from the scene in the roster", which translates to saying "MYM is too good for the NGL team league".
Its not nice to read this, the exact and right decision is stated on MYM site, try to read it with more precision next time.
ngl team league finals is online, it's less easy to perform online with all the lag, making it less true also.
It was only natural to make it offline. Moreover, last time teams divided the money purse equally so what is the point of making a LAN party?
Anyway, MYM shoulnd't leave the NGL
Be more careful and objective from now on, man_utd. Not an offense though. I just want you to do a better job so it won't cause any confusion like this anymore.
