Since the CGS closed down a lot of American teams returned to Counter-Strike 1.6. This has added to the talent in the USA, and doubled its fun which enabled KODE5 to open four more spots. On the 14th of March eight teams in total will be participating in the USA KODE5 finals. The decision was made today by KODE5 who listened to the public after disputing that four teams weren't enough. The additional teams are: Texas All-Stars, Frag Dominant, Team 34 and MoB.
The winner of KODE5 USA will represent The United States at the Grand Finals in Russia this May. Once again to sum it up, here are eight teams participating:
Evil Geniuses
Gravitas Gaming US
x3o
compLexity
Frag Dominant
Texas All-Stars
MoB Gaming
Team34
Thomas Kuhlenbach added to his official statement: "KODE5 has always been about the community, and this change is meant to give the community the matchups they want to see. With the addition of these four teams, the roster of participants at KODE5 USA will represent America's best Counter-Strike talent, and we are very much looking forward to seeing who will end up taking the title"
With this said, we are looking forward to lots of action in The USA this year.

Has anyone noticed that the American teams have SUCH BAD WEBSITES... Cant really even find any info about their lineup on (almost) any of them.. Every site seems to be "under construction" still..
Will be interesting to see if eMazing Gaming can do some damage also. Their lineup is cBz, i0nZ, aZn, dEE and m4gic. Think they might be dangerous as well. They are registered also on KODE5. So we will see them there also ;)
Gonna be a good tournament. Good luck all! Im rooting for compLexity!
But i can't wait to see coL.
