MYM Warcraft reopens, Grubby returns

ImageMYM announced today that the Warcraft team will be reopened as part of the new MYM franchise, and that Grubby will return as captain of the team.

Three weeks ago MYM revealed they would drop their entire Warcraft and Starcraft rosters as part of their new strategy, leaving highly sought after players like Jae Ho 'Moon' Jang and Manuel 'Grubby' Schenkhuizen up for grabs.

Moon was quickly linked with Korean team WeMadeFox, while Grubby's next move was left up in the air.

Yesterday, MYM unveiled the latest in a string of recent changes in the team's strategic development. As of yesterday, the MYM brand was licensed as part of the new franchise structure to Frontspawn ApS, a Danish based company. Frontspawn ApS announced today they would be reopening the Warcraft squad with Grubby as the team's new captain.

"Today, I am very pleased and proud to announce the signing of Manuel ‘Grubby' Schenkhuizen," Ronnie "TwaizZ" Jelsbak, managing director Frontspawn ApS

"I am very pleased with reaching an agreement with Grubby, as I have, for a long time, seen him as an icon of the Warcraft 3 scene. He is a very professional player both inside and outside of the game, and I am really looking forward to working with him."

Cassandra Ng has also been brought on in her previous position as a columnist, but also as a personal manager to Grubby.

The Dutch orc is the first of three acquisitions to come for the team in the near future "The manager and me will assist the management in searching for the perfect 2nd and 3rd player we need in order to be not only successful at WC3L, but also have a strong position on the scene in general," as Grubby explains.

As to who these two players might be is anyone's guess. Deok Man 'SocceR' Youn and Jae Wook 'Lucifer' Noh of the previous MYM team are still available, however, the Korean Warcraft market is all but deceased and there's a lot of pressure on this new management team to turn a profit. An all European line-up could very well be part of this new agenda and with players like Dmitriy 'Happy' Kostin and Yoan 'ToD' Merlo still available, it's highly probable we'll see that shift within the new MYM.
