Having a kid is like having double D breasts

Its unbelievable what lengths people will go to help you if you're pushing a baby around, believe me...

I consider that I live in a pretty "dodgy" city, even Macdonalds installed spikes outside its restaurant to stop youths sitting there and causing trouble.

However, after taking out my 3-week year old son in his pram people change, cars are suddenly stopping to let me cross the road (even if they are still on the roundabout!), people are opening doors, offering to carry the pram down stairs, its great!

Also women seem generally intrigued by me (WOW he stays home and he's fertile), since I work for SK full-time, I'm a stay-home Dad so I'm pushing around the pram or carrying him around quite often. It is like those incredibly fit women who men melt in their presence and bend over backwards to facilitate their every need.

THe only downside is people assume because you are a man you know nothing about babies. They do the thing when they suddenly open their eyes wide and nod like your a foreigner who has yet to grasp the English language, "Y-E-S that is R-I-G-H-T arent you C-L-E-V-E-R". Oh well, can't have everything I guess!!
