Escape From City 17 short film series

ImagePurchase Brothers have produced a short film series called "The Escape From City 17" based on Half-Life computer game with no money, no time, no crew, no script, with a $500 budget for the first two episodes.



Produced by the Purchase Brothers, the Escape From City 17 short film series is an adaptation that is based on Valve's Half-Life computer game.

The short film project was originally meant to be a test for numerous post production techniques, a spec commercial, but after testing it turned out to be longer than it was expected.

"Filmed guerrilla style with no money, no time, no crew, no script."
The short film is filmed with a guerrilla style, according to the producers, with no money, no time, no crew, no script. Even the first two episodes were created with a budget of just $500 dollars, the video description says.

The Escape From City 17 is created by Derek Chan and Ian Purchase, from Purchase Brothers producing team.
