The ESL Extreme Masters III Continental Finals Europe groups were drawn live on ESL-TV. The teams were divided up into three pots from where teams get drawn into their groups.

The ESL Extreme Masters III Continental Finals Europe groups were drawn live on ESL-TV. The teams were divided up into three pots from where teams get drawn into their groups.Only the first placed team of each group advances to the Double Elimination playoffs while the second and third team will play each other determining the last two spots for the playoffs. But also the fourth placed team will play each other since there are seven spots for the Global Final.
The second group is probably the strongest one with all the top teams of the recent year except mTw.
