Sky pushes for the summit of G7 January ranking
Jae Ho “Moon” Jang topped the ranking for the third consecutive month as Xiaofeng “Sky” Li has virtually doubled his points to leapfrog June “Lyn” Park at the second place.

Jae Ho “Moon” Jang topped the ranking for the third consecutive month as Xiaofeng “Sky” Li has virtually doubled his points to leapfrog June “Lyn” Park at the second place.The former Meet Your Makers prodigy has scored gold at IEF 2008 and a fourth place at Extreme Masters Season 3 Asia Continental Finals from December to January, gaining roughly 50 points in G7’s WC3 ranking. However, he has seen pressure from resurgent Chinese Human master.
After enduring a frustrating year in 2008, coming second in various competitions, Xiaofeng 'Sky' Li has slowly returned to his peak with also the return of his trademark tower rush tactic. He took a huge leap forward from 399 points to 626 points thanks to three silver medals he collected at IEF 2008, WGT 2008 Global Final and PGL Season IV as well as two gold medals at CEG Chengdu Tour and Extreme Masters Season 3 Asia Continental Finals.
Fifth place Mousesports Orc player Weiliang 'Fly100%' Lu in the meantime swapped place with GosuGamers Player of the Year Manuel 'GrubbY' Schenkhuizen, following a second place at CEG Chengdu Tour and a triumph at PGL Season IV.
