A great year continues for x3o after they recently defeated Evil Geniuses and are currently ranked at the top of the CEVO-Professional Season 10 standings, their only defeat being a close loss against Gravitas Gaming.

Thanks to their recent performances, x3o have earned themselves a spot in the KODE5 USA finals at Lethal Gamers in Dallas. Joining x3o to battle it out in Dallas will also be EG.usa who recently won the LG KODE5 qualifier. Two further teams that are to be competing in the finals are to be announced tomorrow and on Wednesday.

GotFrag has taken the time to speak to Nick Fitzsimmons, the Executive Director of x3o Gaming to ask him a few questions concerning the team, its recent performances and his expectations.

"CS 1.6 in the United States is rapidly rising again in an effort to recapture the prominence which the scene once held. How does the team feel about having a chance to play in the qualifier and maybe represent the country on an international stage?

We are very excited about the opportunity. It is always a great honor to represent our country to the rest of the world. If we do get the chance, I know that we will do our best to exceed the expectations of our fans and the community and hopefully bring some glory back to North American e-Sports."
