Blizzard Entertainment will not be attending this years E3 despite the organisers behind it loosening the requirements on those wishing to attend.A Blizzard representative told GiantBomb that Blizzard Entertainment, the company behind Starcraft, Warcraft and Diablo "will not be attending or participating in E3 2009."
With Starcraft2 and DiabloIII already in production this means that those lucky enough to be able to squeeze into E3 will miss out on a chance to try out the new titles.
Blizzard Entertainment however, will perhaps rely on yet another installment of BlizzCon in order to show off their goods. BlizzCon in the past has been held in the second half of the year but Starcraft2 has already found its way into The EPS Finals in Paris so we should surely see the beta of Blizzard's new titles filter their way into other eSports events through the course of the year.
Blizzard Entertainment's other half Activision Blizzard will be in attendance at E3 along with the likes of Electronic Arts, Square-Enix, Konami and Capcom.

E3 is the biggest game convention in the world. Blizzard should make it count.
I wonder what Activision "Blizzard" will present when Blizzard doesn't show up.
