Electronic Sports League(ESL) introduced the participating teams in the upcoming season, which is set to embrace a whole new competition format.

With the American multi-gaming organisation Gravitas Gaming closing their WC3 squad, an extra match between iGamecentral and eXpertise for their place was expected to take place shortly after the qualifier concluded.

However, the Chinese side picked up “too much” penalty points during the qualifier, for their manager’s incapability to write statement in time in most cases. Hence iGamecentral, ousted by EYE Sports 2-3 in lower bracket semi-finals, succeeded Gravitas Gaming’s place.

Meanwhile, Meet Your Makers, who parted way with their parent organisation last week, appeared in the shortlist. Up until now there is no further details of their participation from ESL, and the one-time WC3L champions’ future in the league remains to be seen.
