Grubby crowned GG Player of the Year
GosuGamers has unveiled the winners of their WC3 Awards 2008 as former Meet Your Makers Orc player Manuel “Grubby” Schenkhuizen has reclaimed the Player of the Year Award after 2006.

GosuGamers has unveiled the winners of their WC3 Awards 2008 as former Meet Your Makers Orc player Manuel “Grubby” Schenkhuizen has reclaimed the Player of the Year Award after 2006.
The prodigious Dutchman topped the poll with 315 votes he received from the community, merely 100 votes ahead of June 'Lyn' Park of SK Gaming, whom relished a dazzling year with USD 101,259 in the first place in the prize money ranking.
Struggling to strike gold in any major event in the first half of the year, the 22-year-old built on his success at ESL Benelux Season 1 Finals and scored another two trophies in World Cyber Games and Extreme Masters Season 3 Global Challenge Seoul, taking the number of his earned prize money to USD 50,329.
Elsewhere, the dominant Chinese side World Elite, enjoyed success throughout the whole year, was honoured Team of the Year, while a successful run in last year’s BlizzCon has landed the young Spaniard Pedro 'LucifroN' Moreno Durán Most Improved Player Award.
