MLG's Pro Circuit is back for another year and it's bringing WoW along with it.After a record-breaking first season for WoW in Major League Gaming, the league has decided to take Blizzard's MMO on-board for a second term.
So far WoW is the only game on the PC Circuit, but MLG's FAQ page does stress that further titles may be added during the season.
Just two events have been confirmed so far for MLG. But another two regular season events are being worked out, as well as national championship. The two finalised events are as follows:
Meadowlands, 3-5 April
Columbus, 5-7 June
After a slow winter period, this news means the WoW tournament scene is finally starting to get back into gear. With five events set by MLG and the usual two Blizzard events, WoW fans have a lot to look forward to in this coming year.
Details of the rules have yet to be announced, but the league's format will be different from last year. MLG claims the new system "adds an overwhelming amount of depth." You can find out more about the new rules here.

^This was a joke I just wanted to piss off the first nubs
Good shit, can't wait to watch this!
WoW yes
and "no name"-teams have a chance to compete and fighting for a sponsorship (hopefully)
so we'll see more and more teams wich helps WoW as an esport alot imo.
But right now the balance is so horrible, that no one can seriously consider it to be a good "competition game".
Either blizz does something and does it QUICKLY
...or WoW should not be an e-sport :>
please, take us 5k more life, low dmg for 10%, and make the druids to heal more.
Now, is ur turn
I disagree with those asking for this tournaments at lvl70 with s3-s4 gear. I mean the game was the best in season2 in BC, without armor penetration. Season3 en 4 was dominated by warriors/rogues combined with druids. Im actually glad not every game we see will either be wld or rmp.
I just hope not every team will be rolling with a surv hunter double healer setup. -.-
I seggust they either play wow as it were in s3-s4 or withdraw this annoucement.
