SK and coL claim American EM spots

ImageAfter many changes in the American scene, SK and Complexity will take over the two empty spots for Extreme Masters.

After a fairly busy off-season in terms of re-branding, sponsorship and lineup changes, the teams attending next month's EM finals were still unknown.

Today ESL changed all that by announcing the three American finalists. SK-Gaming's own US team will be one of the trio, followed by Complexity (formerly GotGame East) and Evil Geniuses.

SK's slot comes courtesy of newcomer, Realz, having been part of the team that won the US qualifier back in October. GotGame East's slot was deferred to coL. Despite the squad being exactly the same as the one that qualified, GotGame were asked if they wished to retain it but declined.

The lineups for the American teams look like this:

SK-Gaming US: Serennia, Realz, Sck
Complexity: Happyminti, Sodah, Venruki
Evil Geniuses: Azael, Kollektiv, Zyz

The Korean finalists have been decided for some time, but here's a reminder:

H O N: Choi Dong Hoon, Kang Nae Hyun, Oh Seon Gouk
kill e A: Clazzi, Hiren, Miracle

The Extreme Masters Global Final begins March 3.
