Meet Your Makers have just announced the shocking news that they will be dropping their entire Warcraft3 and Starcraft rosters.

The reason behind the decision is that the mother company behind ESNation A/S has decided to re-focus and change the strategy for which teams to focus on in the upcoming year.

The decision means the likes of Jae Ho 'Moon' Jang, Manuel 'Grubby' Schenkhuizen, Oleksii 'White-Ra' Krupnik and Eugene 'Strelok' Oparyshev are now all clanless. In total seventeen players have been laid off as well as four managers.

The MYM Warcraft3 team has enjoyed unbelievable success with NGL and WC3L titles as a team, as well as unmatched individual glory through Jae Ho 'Moon' Jang, otherwise known as the fifth race, as well as other star players such as Grubby.

MYM are not the first team to cut back but considering their reputation to be financially wealthy the loss of two entire squads instead of a handful of players just shows how hard to economic downturn has hit ESNation among others. The announcement puts the future of Warcraft3 in dissaray with now even more high profile players free agents.

That's shocking o_O Grubby back to 4K :D Although this can't be due to financial crisis only. The markets aren't that bad seriously to drop the whole WC3 squad and especially Moon and Grubby.

That was a weird move. Really weird.

You know, at times like this, you really have to stand back and admire what a team like World Elite has achieved. My feelings about one of their players is well known, but you can't help but be impressed by a team that can contain so many great players and have apparently so few problems. Whatever some of us (well, mostly myself ;D) might think of Sky, you have to respect his dedication and loyalty.

Thought the same. World Elite is incredibly stable. I also have the feeling they are not really paying out incredibly sums to their players, yet pretty solid sums. Not sure, just had that feeling.

this is really shocking.MYM had given us so many amazing memories and now this..i think they focusing on Starcraft..Notably Moon,Grubby and White-Ra are legends in their own right..i hope they will move on..Really sad and oh well this sucks :(

Not really the death of Wc3 as of yet, but certainly that of team leagues. Even with the smaller wc3l, there are too many top players to fit into too few teams now. It will be WE on top and nothing else.

Good to see Moon getting a new contract so soon (and so well donated O_O), at least 1on1 leagues will prosper for another year.

"they're going to focus on counter-strike and dota only?" For now and it also indicates that they might add other teams like maybe a console team or of another game maybe World of Warcraft or Command and Conquer 3. Who knows unexpected shit happens when it comes to MYM.

This totally sucks.
Well, may be WC3 is really dying and as far as i can see, the leagues will become just 1vs1 with just handful of players being sponsored.

And this is how a legend will die!
