Arcadion leaves Counter-Strike, trace to ATS

ImageThe team has been playing together for quite some time now achieving great results, but Timm "Arcadion" Henriksen is forced to leave the Counter-Strike scene going inactive. He will now focus more on his studies which take up more time than expected.

Announcing the departure of Timm 'ArcadioN' Henriksen also means the team lost it's captain which will be taken over by Rasmus 'FaagaN' Møller Thomsen in the future. According to the teams website Timms studies take a lot more time than expected which led him to this decision.

They already found a replacement being their old mate Martin Alexander 'trace' Bang Heldt who actually just joined Vulkan a few days ago but now decided to take the opportunity to play for ATS. The team just qualified for the ESL Extreme Masters III Continental Finals Europe and also still have a good shot at qualifying for the EPS Finals if they're winning their match against fnatic.

Below you can also read statements of FaG and trace about the changes:

The new team captain, Rasmus FAAGAN Møller states:

"This is a very sad day for us here in ATS. Our tactical leader and coreplayer of the team is stepping down from competetive gaming. ArcadioN wasn't able to keep attending events with us guys and had to put more focus on his education - hense his decision to quit. All of us here in ATS would like to thank Timm for an awesome time and some great experiences - Gonna miss you buddy. With this decision ArcadioN leaves behind a huge cap, he has from day 1 been our tactical-mastermind and ingame leader, so how we are going to fill this gap is yet to be decided. But for now, wazorN and me is giving it a shot and hopefully we can do a descent job. So what 2009 holds for ATS, only time can tell."

We also got a hold of Martin who said:

"It feels great to be back. I have been missing playing the hard matches versus the good teams, and I am really looking forward to that. Furthermore is it great to be back with my old mates, missed it a lot - especially now when anizz is around! My goal(our goals I hope) is to be one of the best teams in the world, top10 would be my goal. Attend all the big events and perform well. Thats it, good to be back"
