ImageIn a couple of hours the ESL Extreme Masters Continental Asian final kicks off in Chengdu, China. And there have been yet more changes in regards to the teams attending the Counter-Strike event.

On Monday, it was announced that the Korean team AIMD had cancelled their participation in the challenge to grab the $25,000 for first prize, along as one of two placements available representing Asia at the Extreme Masters III Finals.

To take their place, K23 from Kazakhstan, was brought into the event to take their place. K23 were selected after their impressive results over the past year in certain events.

Sadly, K23 have hit a common problem for many teams in the gaming community with the issue of visas. SYUnited, formally known as Team Dragon will be replacing the Kazakh team at the event, which is set to start in just a couple of hours.

Along with this news, another Korean team has announced that they will not be attending the event. Lunatic-Hai feel that they should skip this event, which for many is a shame with them being one of the main teams at the event. The Koreans will now be replaced by FTK at the event, leaving Wemade Fox as the only Korean representative at the event.
