An addicted gamer has apparently eaten a diced-up sawblade in an attempted suicide. His current condition is unknown.Xiao Cai, a 23 year-old gamer who has spent a great portion of his life being heavily addicted to video games attempted suicide in Beijing, China by swallowing a sawblade. His condition is one of the most severe cases of game addiction, causing him to ramble on about his video games continuously. According to sources, the doctors who have been treating Xiao Cai recall that even while he was in critical condition following the attempt, he reportedly continued to incoherently discuss his favorite video games in the Beijing Hospital ICU.
As reported by Danwei, Xiao Cai has been a gaming addict since his junior high years, only with the common case of gaming addiction. However, the man's family have noted that he has gradually been worsening with his addiction and that the time prior to his attempted suicide was at an all-time extreme. The source of his gaming addiction has been narrowed down to playing either StarCraft or World of Warcraft.
This has been another addition to a long line of certain fans of Blizzard Entertainment taking irrational action in the cases of suicide, personal injury or lethal role-playing.

I can remember, off the top of my head, 4 including this one. Blizzard can't be held responsible for tragic mental illnesses and this is completely irresponsible reporting. Don't forget that there are 11.5 million WoW players who haven't damaged their health because of gaming...
As many problems of nowadays its because of family and parental relantionships not being "stable" ( could continue explainning as of with this occurs but ZzzZ)
probably one of those antisocial people having no interaction with the outside world
Oh boy... Eating a saw blade, in the hospital and still talking about your favorite game. You can say whatever you want, but this guy has spirit!
This is one of that stories, this is unthinkable!!
Sorry to the family and to the games community but they should let him kill himself...
Oh nvm Zechs didn't write this.
"he reportedly continued to incoherently discuss his favorite video games in the Beijing Hospital ICU."
This guy was hardcore .
Sad story , my prayers to his family.
It also doesn't mention that he plays any Blizzard game whatsoever. Insider info?
There's a bigger chance that the terrible conditions for humans in China is to blame for this. There are no jobs, no human rights no nothing there!
Also games have different effect on different people. For example someone plays 2 hours a day and he might need to wear glasses after that but there are people like me who are "gamers" from the age of 5 and i have perfect eyes and menthal condition. If his parents/family noticed that he had problems they should've done something before this happened.
