ImageWorld Elite have triumphed at the WC3L Playoffs in Chengdu, China, defeating SK Gaming in the overall final 3-2.

Although, it was not all plain sailing as SK managed to win the first clan match with some good line-ups and won 3-2 after an impressive piece of play by Sung Sik 'ReMinD' Kim in his match against Xiaofeng 'Sky' Li.

The line-ups for the second game were much better for World Elite and it would prove an uphill struggle. The second clan war kicked off with the 2 versus 2 and ReMinD and team-mate Seong Deok 'SoJu' Lee were unable to hold off a double Human tower rush by Xiaofeng 'Sky' Li & Xuwen 'infi' Wang.

Next was Seong Deok 'SoJu' Lee versus Xiaofeng 'Sky' Li and Soju dominated the games with a beautifully executed Dark Ranger strat on Melting Valley to take the series. Meanwhile, June 'Lyn' Park had disposed of Kejing 'Like' Li in Orc mirror to edge SK Gaming into a 2-1 lead butDong Hwan 'viOlet' Kim once again fell with a 2-0 scoreline to level the scores once again.

With the scores tied at 2-2 Sung Sik 'ReMinD' Kim's match would once against be the decider but he was paired against Undead player TeD, his weakest match-up. ReMinD lost the first and decided to flex his Orcish skills on Echo Isles in the second, but TeD's Undead was just too strong and World Elite were victorious.

This will be the last we will see of the WC3L team competition with new formats to begin shortly for both the WC3L and the NGL ONE, let us bid it farewell.
