It was announced that the Korean team of eSTRO is moving to WeMade FOX, a big Korean company that wants to expand their esport section beyond Starcraft. The team will play their first event at the end of the week with the ESL Extreme Masters Continental Finals Asia to compete with Lunatic-Hai, wNv and more.WeMade Fox is owned by the WeMade company which already recruited a Starcraft team earlier on and now support Counter-Strike with recruiting eSTRO. Estro is currently the best Korean team as they just won the EM III Global Challenge in Seoul in November 2008 as well as placing third at the World Cyber Games 2008 and the World eSport Masters 2008.
The team itself will not go through any lineup changes but it is said that this is a big step for the team and the scene with this big financial company in the back. This could mean they will be attending more international events in the future other than the big ones but you will be able to see them playing this weekend at the EM III Continental Final Asia from January 16th to 18th 2009.
