With the upper bracket final poised at 2-2, TeD and Susiria met each other in an undead mirror match, starting on turtle rock. The WE player went with his all-purpose fiend build and after creeping the green camp outside his base, he went on the offensive. Despite the Chinese player's harassment, Susiria's army of ghouls gave him the slip and both players crept level two instead.

The players met up again in TeD's base and although Susiria did delay his opponent's tier three tech, he lost a handful of ghouls too. The next skirmish took place near the eastern shop. Neither player gained much of a food advantage but, crucially, Susiria lost almost all of his ghouls. Left with just gargoyles fighting against web-upgraded fiends, the outcome was inevitable and TeD ended the game in the next battle with a deathknight surround followed by a lich kill.

Earlier in the match, PGL runner-up, Sky, continued his impressive form, comfortably beating Soccer 2-0. Infi also maintained his shape by beating a downtrodden Grubby. Moon's game against Like and the 2v2 both went MYM's way, leaving the game right in the balance heading into the last set.

But if Susiria felt the pressure of being a game behind he didn't show it. After restarting the game thanks to a disconnect issue, Susiria went ultra offensive with his Lich and ghouls, pushing into TeD's base as soon as he hit level two. The game was over in under five minutes, as the mass of skeletons and ghouls simply overwhelmed TeD by sheer force of numbers.

The final game of the match took place on twisted meadows and both players stuck to plan A. Both players started slowly, swapping little more than skeleton kills, showing the burden on their shoulders for the first time. There wasn't a single unit killed all the way to tier three, in fact.

When tier three did come around, Susiria went for gargoyles again to counter TeD's frost wyrms. After ten minutes the game finally showed signs of life when TeD moved into Susiria's base with a 60 food army. Susiria tried to base trade but with no anti-air in his main army, the frost wyrm in TeD's base was enough to force a town portal. Having already lost a couple of ghouls while the TP was channeled, Susiria was in dire straights and though he fought on for a minute or two, the outcome was already beyond doubt.

Thanks to TeD's victory, World Elite will be waiting in the final tomorrow for the winner of SK vs MYM. The latest installment of this great rivalry promises to be one of the best. With this being the last ever WC3L in this format, the bragging rights at stake - not to mention the cash, of course - are immense.
